Team i:SY at the E-Bike World Championship for Everyone 2025
From 4th to 6th September 2025, the E-Bike World Championship took place once again in Ischgl – and Team i:SY was there once more. This time, in a new twist – the team competed in the challenging "Advanced for Everyone" category.
They had to conquer a distance of 30.5 km with 720 metres of elevation gain. The technically demanding course featured uphill and downhill sections, set against a stunning mountain backdrop.
Team i:SY, consisting of four riders on iconic 20" compact bikes, came with big dreams of medals – and they were not disappointed. Frank Troffer, now participating for the third time, secured gold once again and was even first in his age category! Strong support came from the two i:SY staff members, Till Kaletsch and Christian Grompe, who both made their debut and immediately bagged bronze. Frequent participant Matthias Neufang also won bronze. Together, they achieved a significant success for i:SY, finishing in 7th place in the team ranking.
Till Kaletsch enthusiastically summarised after the results were announced: "What an exciting race! Once again, we have demonstrated the potential of our compact bikes. We are extremely satisfied with the 7th place. We are particularly proud of Frank Troffer’s first place in his age category – it means a great deal to us! Our joy is immense, and we eagerly look forward to next year to ride even faster and further."
